March 2014, I love you.

Hey there,
I hope you're all doing well. I am. I'm very good indeed. I haven't been on for a while, as you may have noticed. Life was keeping me busy, well at least my weekends were. Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Oberhausen, Offenbach, Amsterdam and Dortmund have been part of the journey. But let's start at the beginning. There's going to be a lot of pictures, so beware.
My month started on the 7th of March in Heidelberg, Germany.
I went to see my favourite british guys from The 1975. Really there's not that much to explain about this day. The concert was good as always and meeting them was quite rushed.

The night after the concert we drove to Stuttgart, slept there for like 3 hours and got up again to pick the lovely Courtney up from the airport. We got ready and drove into town to get some alcohol and had lunch at Dean & David (my new favourite place to get food, oh my goodness. It's so delicious).
We basically went to the venue after that. We were first in line since everyone else was chilling in front of the guys' tour bus.

Thanks to all these people on the photos, you made the day fucking amazing. Queueing couldn't have been more fun.
Time passed by and after some funny incidents the doors opened. Let me tell you something, the gig was freaking fabulous. It was insane! I had so, so, so much fun.
We went outside to the back entry after the gig for sure. But the people there were absolutely crazy and I don't mean that in a positive way. Anyway we didn't get to meet the guys, but it was alright I guess. I was a bit gutted because I thought that would've been my last time of seeing them for a while and I wanted to thank them for the amazing show and how much fun I had just because of them. That's the thing with seeing your favourite band live. Singing along every single lyric, dancing like crazy, possibly being completely wasted and having the best time ever with the best people. It's the best feeling on the whole wide world, trust me. I live for this feeling.

Let's jump to the weekend after that. I know, this post is really not detailed, but it would be way to much to write to tell you everything that happened. If you have any questions, the link to my ask.fm is on the sidebar.
The weekend after seeing The 1975 was a Bastille kind of weekend. The first gig was on Friday the 14th in Cologne.

We arrived there pretty late because of school, but as we had our lovely friends we got pretty much in the front of the queue and ended up in the second row. The concert was awesome, for sure. I finally heard The Draw live, to which I was looking forward to the whole year. Bastille have such an energy on stage it's amazing! The opening act was brilliant, too, but more about them further down in this post.

Only Woody and Dan came out after the show, but they were lovely as always. It was a lot more rushed than the last time I met them. The difference six months can make, pheeew.

We only had about an hour or two of sleep that night but who cares.
We started queueing quite early, because we surely wanted to be front row that night. People were being stupid, rude and annoying as always in the queue. But we somehow survived everything and got into the front row. We were looking forward to the gig than before, since we got to witness the amazing opening act the night before. They go by the name Grizfolk by the way.

As you can see for yourself, they absolutely smashed it. And the gig in general couldn't have been better. I had one of the best nights in my entire live. After the show we stopped by at the merchandise to say hi to the Grizfolk guys but we somehow got thrown out by the venue's securities and happened to chill outside with the guys and hey we took some pretty funny photos! :)

They're literally the coolest dudes ever and I hope they will come back to Europe sometime soon. You all should check them out!

After hanging with Grifolk for while we went down to the direction where the buses were to wait for the Bastille guys. Unfortunately we got kicked out by security and had to leave the parking lot etc. As we don't let people tell us what we have to do, we parked somewhere else and walked back in the hope to meet at least one of the guys. Will came out and he was only with Dick and Greg, so there was no security and it was quite chilled.

Shortly after that Woody came out and he was drunk off his ass. I absolutely loved it. It was such fun to watch him, haha. In case you were wondering why I took this many pictures with him, as you can see he kept pulling faces while my friend was moaning at him to look normal, it was hilarious. We left after that, but apparently Dan came out, too. But probably two hours after the others because they had been recording so it must've been around 3 am.

About three days after this weekend Inga and I went to Offenbach to see Casper (He's a german rapper in case you didn't know). I actually should've bought my ticket from some guy at the venue but he didn't turn up so I drove to Frankfurt to hang with my other friends and we came back to the venue when the concert was over. We basically had to wait ages for him to come out, but he was just the loveliest person ever! Here's our piccy :)

About a week after this day my friend Sina and I decided quite spontaneously to drive to Amsterdam to see The 1975 at their last European gig of the tour. Even though we saw barely anything of the city it's safe to say that Amsterdam is one of the prettiest cities! We had a horrific night in our hostel, but let's not go into detail. Anyway I'm so glad we went there because we had so much fun and it was just an amazing experience! I again, met people from so many different countries and had an absolute blast. The gig couldn't have been more awesome as well as the whole day in general. We met Adam and Ross before the show but it was pretty much rushed as well as meeting them and the rest again after the show. Sina and I had a few presents for George since it was his birthday the day before and he was so happy about it. Phew, that guy gives amazing hugs.

Fun facr: the stage was so high you could barely see anything so we went onto the balcony and it was the best decision ever.

The Friday after the Amsterdam trip Bastille had a private radio gig in Dortmund and we went there for sure, haha. The gig was quite intimate measured of how big Bastille became. The setlist was a lot longer as expected and obviously the gig was a blast! Through our own dumbness we didn't meet them, ugh.

I know I told you before, the post is not detailed at all but it was such much work already and I really can't be bothered to describe it more. If you have any questions don't hesitate to leave me an ask. Thank you for your time. You pretty much rock. Thanks to the people I spend all those amazing days with, you're the best.

Meeting Tom Odell

Hey there lovelies,
this is just quick post about what happened two hours ago because it was really random and amazing!
(I should be doing my homework right now)
During my free lesson my very amazing friend Sina texted Inga and I that Tom Odell was coming to our local radio station today. We discussed it forwards and backwards whether to go or not to go. I called the radio station and they told me the time he would be there. So Inga jumped into her car, picked me up and we drove there. I love spontaneous actions like that.
We waited for ages in the cold until we decided to get the car and park it across the street so we could still see the entry of the radio station. So we sat in the warm car and waited for some more. What felt like hours later, a brown van showed up. We were confused because people normally arrive there in black vans with number plates from Berlin or Hamburg but this one had one from Wiesbaden, which is the capital of Hesse (where I live). But we saw Tom sitting in it and practically jumped out of the car, and went to where his van parked. He got out of it and asked how we were. We took some photos, hugged and filmed a video message for Sina. It is below.

He was in a rush and we had to leave, too, so there wasn't much time to chat. We said our Goodbyes and I wished him fun. Inga and I were the only people waiting for him so that was cool. Tom is such a lovely lad and I can't wait to see him at the Southside festival in June!

James Arthur Concert

G'day mates!
I hope everyone is good. As you all are able to read, you most likely know what this post is about.
So on Friday three of my favourite girls, Inga, Jess and Katha, came over for a sleepover. We chatted had a few drinks and a lot of fun. Here's a cheeky piccy.

The next day, which was Saturday, we got up really really really early to get ready to drive to Frankfurt where the James Arthur concert took place. The concert was in the Gibson, a club on the busiest shopping street in Frankfurt, the Zeil.  We were the first ones there and made ourselves comfortable in front of the club which was in some side niche of the street.

But after a really short time the club's janitor came and told us that we couldn't stay there and had to go back on the street, which led to one of the most embarrassing and uncomfortable experiences of my life. We went back on the street and got our stuff out again. So there we were, us four girls and two other girls, chilling on Frankfurt's biggest shopping street. People may have mistook us as homeless quite a few times and everyone, literally everyone who walked by stared at us. Like what the actual fuck don't you have some manners? It might have looked a bit weird, this growing group of girls sitting on the street, but you don't just stare at people. I started thinking about how it has to be to be actually homeless and having to beg for money on the streets. Those people just staring at you, must feel very shit.
As more and more people came people started asking what we were waiting for. James Arthur wasn't a name to most of them. Some people were asking really nicely, but some just came across weird and rude. Some of them were funny, too, for example a group of guys who stopped by for a few minutes and just chatted to us.
Anyway it was fun with the girls and the waiting didn't seem as long as it actually was.

That's Katha on the photo by the way. Sometime around noon Janina joined us. The doors opened at 6.30 pm and we had some difficulties with the security guards before. I don't want to go into details but Securities are just really the worst enemies a fan can have. Some of them are such dicks.

Here we have the gorgeous Jess and myself. The lightening gave the photo some really weird effect, but it actually looks cool, doens't it?

Here we have myself and my lovely barrier bitches. Honestly those were the best people to spend this day with.

So now, to the concert. There's the gorgeous James above.
The concert opened with a very talented singer called Norma Jean Martine and her band. I recommend you to check her out, her voice is sick and she's gorgeous and seemed pretty sympathetic. Here's one of her songs and the polaroid she took of the crowd.

Around 8.30 pm James came on and started the show with You're Noboby Til Somebody Loves You. His voice is as amazing as I imagined it to be live and it seemed like he got fitter since the last time I saw him. He deserved his place as the winner of X- Factor back in 2012 a hundred percent. He played most of the songs from his album, but I think that the setlist was really short. It was about 14 songs long if I remember it right and the concert was over way too fast. The ticket was about 30 Euros and I thought that it was quite expensive, since he isn't big over here yet but it was worth it anyway. Inga and I stood directly in front of him and the girls stood on our lefts and rights. He touched their hands from time to time and gave them and the rest of the front row a few high fives and Inga and I thought that he wouldn't be able to reach us, because of the boxes in front of him, but during Get Down he somehow managed to touch my hand. And I guess that was the highlight for me that night, since we didn't meet him after the show, haha. James' band seemed cool by the way and he has two really talented background singers. Anyway, here's the video of Get Down, as it was one of my favourites live.

Straight after the last song was over, we pushed through the crowd and ran out to the back entry in the hope to meet him. Unfortunately the back entry was around the block, because it was obviously on the back of the building so it was quite far to get there. When we arrived some girl told us that he had just left and showed us a picture of him and her. He must have ran straight out after the song, because it only took us a short time to get there. We assumed that he was used to that from X- Factor because they always do it like that there, One Direction for example, run out straight too and leave within less that 5 minutes. I was quite disappointed but I guess it wasn't that bad because I've met them before.
We then went to Burger King to get some late night dinner and drove home.

Even though the gig was way too short and we didn't meet them I recommend going and seeing him to everyone.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

Imagine Dragons Concert & Meeting Them

Good evening lovelies!
As I'm lying here in bed with a cup of tea I thought it would be the right time to blog about the past weekend. Well, what did I do? I went to a concert, wow that was hard to guess, wasn't it?
Anyway that concert was in Luxembourg. I've never been to Luxembourg before, but we really wanted to see Imagine Dragons live and the gig in Cologne, which was the closest for us, was already sold out and it was on the weekday. The gig in Luxembourg was on a Saturday so it was perfect.
On Friday Inga and Janina slept over at mine and we drove to Luxembourg on Saturday morning. After some complications with our car we finally got there around 11.30 am. Quite early I know, but we really wanted to be in the front row and the gig was sold out. The concert hall was massive, 6500 people fitted in there. We waited there and spend some time in the shopping center next to the venue until the doors opened around 7 pm. The first opening act was called The Moth And The Flame, but they weren't really my type of music so I can't say that much about them. The second opening act was Dan Croll and his band and they were fantastic! I had listened to their music before, so I kind of knew what to expect. Dan has a great voice and their music is really good. I recommend you to check them out, they're pretty fit lads, too! ;)
Find Dan Croll on YouTube & Twitter

Around 9.15 pm, I guess, Imagine Dragons were on. I don't even have words for their show, it was out of this world! I've been to quite a lot concerts already, as you know, but this was actually the best concert I ever went to. The whole crowd knew the lyrics by heart and sang along to every song. The whole band, but especially Dan Reynolds, the singer, was completely overwhelmed. He got really emotional during the show and because the crowd was so amazing they covered two songs instead of one, as they normally do. One of those two cover songs was Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana which made me more than happy because I absolutely love Nirvana's music. When the crowd voted by the loudness of the screaming which songs they should cover I was screaming Nirvana so loud and much that I practically coughed myself to death after that, haha. Here's the video, I'm gonna upload more videos during the next few days. (for some reason it won't blend in the video so here's the link.) It was insane, there were people from France, Spain, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and apparently Canada and The United States!

After the gig we went to the merch stand where Dan Croll and his Keyboarder Jacob were and we chatted to them for a bit and took photos. They're two really nice guys and I can't wait to see them hopefully again next year!

Then we went to the back entry where some fans told us that Imagine Dragons would come out around midnight or something and we went to our car to get my camera, because we had some time left until they would came out and wanted our photos to be in a good quality, too. On the way back to the back entrance we stopped by Dan Croll again and chatted for some more and took a few more photos. To his displeasure we took a 'funny' one or at least attempted to do one, haha. (Don't look at my face, I looked horrific that day)

After that we went to the back entry again and waited there for some more with some other german fans. First Daniel and Ben came out and I let them sign my ticket, I don't even know when Daniel went into the bus but probably when I took a photo with Ben, so I didn't get a photo with him. When Ben signed my ticket and wanted to give me my Edding back I accidentally let it fall to the ground, the clumsy person that I am. I shouted out 'Shit!' quite loud, ooops. I think it was Daniel, or Ben, I'm not sure who it was, who picked it up and gave it to me. They basically made fun of me every time I lend them my Edding, from then on, but who cares haha.  Next one to come out was Dan and he signed my ticket, but I didn't get a photo with him. Inga actually go one and I'm really happy for her, since Dan and the whole of Imagine Dragons mean a lot to her. Last one to come out was Wayne, since he apparently needed his time, haha. He's actually my favourite, he's the cutest guy ever haha.

After that we basically said bye and went to our car. We drove to the hotel and tried to get our heads around what had just happened. This insane concert that we experienced and all that stuff. We didn't sleep much, also mainly because the hotel bed was freaking uncomfortable. Around 12 am we checked out of the hotel and guess what? We stepped out of the hotel in our sweat pants and without any make up on and The Moth And The Flame were standing by their van in front of our hotel. So apparently they stayed there, too, haha.

I hope you all had a great weekend, too! Have a lovely week.

The 1975 concert & meeting them

Hiya guys,
I haven't blogged in a while, simply because I was so busy with my school work. I constantly have school until 5 pm and I had exams and reports to hand in going on. But I haven't got any exams this week, so maybe I'll have a bit more time to blog.

This Friday I went to Frankfurt to see one of my absolute favourite bands in the whole wide world. There might be some swearing in the following text post and some shortened language, I'm sorry. I just copied from tumblr and added a few thing, because I was too lazy to write everything again.
I went straight to the venue after school and was there at like 2.15 pm, but my friends had already been there since around 12. The tourbus was already there, too. My friend was told that the guys would still be at the hotel, but for sure they weren't. After some time, Matty, George and Ross came out. According to them Adam was still asleep in the bus and they all looked dead tired but still were the nicest people ever. I knew George was tall, but honestly not that fucking tall. He already bend his knees a bit so he was smaller but when I tried to take a selfie I just couldn’t get all of him on the photo and he then just grabbed my phone laughing and took the selfie himself. He took two more, but they’re too awful for the internet to see, haha. My friend had loads of present for them and Matty was literally behaving like a little girl on christmas eve, he was so happy about the present she gave them. She had some black hoodie for Ross on which she stiched up The 1975 with fake leather and they all were basically completely freaking out about it, because according to Matty the apperently have had the same idea for a hoodie to do. We told them they should arrange Sina (my friend) for the merch, hahaha. My other friend and I gave them some cigarettes with chocolate flavour, just as a joke, but they were super happy about it. They told us they would come out later again and went inside the venue. Adam then later came out and as clumsy as I am I stepped full on his foot when we took a selfie.

As the time of the concert came closer more people started queueing up. People always start fights with me on twitter when I say that its pisses me off how those 15 years old One Direction fans claim to like The 1975 just because Harry Styles likes them. But it was the same again yesterday. I swear 90 % of the crowd were little 1D fangirls and they kept talking about One Direction when we stood in the queue. Wish the gig would’ve been 18 +. But I also met some really cool people, here's a picture of us all! :)

Anyway the opening act was quite good and 20 minutes late the 1975 started to perform. The show was sick even though the microfone was way too silent and the sound was quite shit in that club. I ended up having a fight with some security guard who wanted to throw me out during the last song because I had argued with him before and didn't listen to what he was telling me. He basically told me not to film, but everyone else was filming, too. I mean was he actually serious? Normally you're allowed to film at every concert, even at the ones with super famous people performing. I would've done what the security guard told me, when everyone else would've been not allowed to film, too. That was what I told him but he just kept on screaming at me and that was when I had enough and freaked out a bit. He also argued with some of my friends and we were all pissed as hell, because he ruined a huge part of the concert for us. Also the band had noticed that something was going on, I mean they were directly in front of us and kept looking to figure out what the hell was going on.
After the concert we went out to where the bus was. There were tons of fangirls already waiting too, it was so annoying. They were even wearing hotpants and crop tops, like wtf it’s the middle of november and it was abou 5 ° C outside. The guys came out after some time and told us that they would come back and that they just wanted to bring their things into the bus. For sure those dumb fangirls ran after them and when Matty came out they started to mob him. LIKE WHAT THE FUCKING HELL ARE YOU SERIOUS. I was shouting at them that they should leave him some space and back off to build a queue. Obviously they didn’t listen to me and kept going on mobbing that poor chap. Matty looked so uncomfortable it was heartbreaking. Some girls even grabbed his hair and shit. Those girls were so disrespectful and rude, I have no words for it. There are times where I seriously question if some of those young people even have parents who tell them how to behave. I had enough of those twats pushing me around just to get to Matty and went to where Ross was. I let him sign my ticket and took another photo with him. Then I went to where George was but he went went back into the bus, I guess he had enough of the fangirls. I went to Adam and let him sign my ticket and took another photo, too, which looks awful by the way, whatever it's below. George shouted for the others to get in the bus because they apparently had to leave.

We all were so pissed because of those fucking dumb fangirls who as I said only knew them because of Harry Styles and didn’t knew anything about the band. Some girl even called Matty George (he was just awkwardly laughing about it). And for sure they all only knew Matty and that’s why they fucking mobbed him. I MEAN WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??? They’re the most chilled and nicest lads ever, why mobb them if you could have a easy chat with them? I’m still so fucking pissed. The only positive thing was that George, Ross and Matty were smoking our cigarettes when they came out, haha.
All in all it was a good night but some things really just ruined it. I couldn't even talk to them properly anymore that night. And they’re not even big over here in Germany yet…
But the 1975 are the most chilled and nicest lads you could possibly ever meet and I'm so looking forward to see them again in March!

I hope you all had a nice weekend, thanks for reading!

Olly Murs Concert & Meeting Him

Hiya you beautiful people out there!
Hope you're alright. Autumn has kicked in and it's raining outside constantly. Ew. So now I'm lying in my bed, being deadly tired. Today is the last day of my holidays and I'm quite sad because of that. But this post is about something different anyway, so here we go.
So on Wednesday the 9th I went to Offenbach for Olly Murs' concert there. I arrived in the afternoon because I had to be at my work placement until 3.30 pm and then take the train to Offenbach and then the bus to the venue. My friends Inga and Sabrina we already at the venue since 1 pm. Just when I stepped out of the bus a got a WhatsApp notification from Sabrina that they had just met Olly Murs. Do you have any idea of how pissed I was? The walk from the bus stop to the venue was like 1 minute so I had missed Olly Murs by 2 minutes. I was quite disappointed but kept telling myself that it was alright because I had already met him last year. I thought there were no more chances to meet him that day since he hadn't come out to meet fans on the other German shows. I was just happy that two of my besties had met him, look how cute their photos with him are! :)

When I arrived at the venue they were already back in the line and there were just a few people in front of them so being in the front row was saved for us. We just chatted with some others until the doors opened. Unfortunately it started raining during that time and by the time we were let in we were al soaking wet even though we had some umbrellas. The opening act for Olly was Ivy Quainoo, the winner of the first series of the German Version of The Voice. Her voice is stunning, just like her. She's a real cutie and basically blows you away with her amazing voice!

Then after some time Olly finally came on! As some of you probably know I have already seen and met him last year and I knew how amazing he was live. Olly is a real entertainer and knows how to connect with the audience. The eye sex with him isn't too bad, too! ;)
My favourite songs live were Dance With Me Tonight, Hey You Beautiful and Troublemaker! Unfortunately I haven't uploaded any videos of the concert on YouTube yet. But you can find some on my Keek.

After the last song, which was Troublemaker, we went straight outside to the back of the venue in the hope to maybe meet Olly, we knew the chances weren't really high. Some others which we had met before already went out before Troublemaker and told us that Olly hadn't left yet. As we waited more and more people came out in the hope to meet Olly. Time passed by and at some point some of our friends had to leave because they were picked up by their parents or had to catch their train. Inga and I were left alone out of the group of our friends. It was raining again and we had no umbrella because Inga had forgotten hers in the venue and we didn't want to go back to because we were afraid Olly would come out during that time.
It was getting later and later and we were getting wetter. My hair looked like I had just come out of the shower and my dress and shoes were soaking wet, let alone my jacket. I could already feel myself getting ill. To explain you where we were waiting I just drew this little thing because it was to complicated to write down.

From where we stood we could see the tour bus perfectly which the others couldn't since their view was blocked by the truck where they where loading in the instruments and some stage stuff. Time passed by and it was already probably 11.45 pm. Then one of Olly's background singers and his drummer walked past us and told me after asking that Olly would come out.
After some time Inga and I were like 'fuck everything, yolo' and went past the barriers and to where the tour bus was. Nobody stopped us. We first went to stay under some roof to not get more wet but then went straight to the bus. Some crew member was sitting in front of the bus, drinking his beer and smoking a cigarette. We didn't talk to him at first and it was kinda awkward. Then, about two minutes later some other, older crew member joined us. He was quite funny, asking if we were that guys fanclub and why he didn't have fans. Inga asked him after some water because was really thirsty. He told her that he had some in his pockets. This was when the funniest thing happed. Inga thought he meant the back pockets of his jeans and lifted his jacket to get the bottle. But the thing was, the bottle was in the pocket of his jacket. He bursted out laughing telling her that he would never let her get a bottle from hiss back pocket, since his ass was too old for her and she was too young for him, haha. Olly's crew is literally the coolest and funniest crew ever. (it probably doesn't sound as funny as it was)
We later asked the bus driver when they would leave and he told us that they would be probably leave in about 40 minutes. At that point it was already after midnight and we thought that there wouldn't be a chance to meet him anymore. Shortly after that some guy from the management came by and told us that we had to go back to the others and weren't allowed to stay by the bus. We thought that Olly was already in the bus anyway so we went back to were the others were. We were about to say goodbye to everyone when some guy from the German management came out to tell us that Olly would come out soon. So we stayed.
A few minutes after that some guy from the British management came out and told us to queue up and stay calm. Not to mention that I was completely calm and just wanted to go home to change into dry clothes. There were only two people in front of Inga and I. And then finally Olly came out. He was as nice and cute as always. He signed my polaroid, from the last time where we met. Then when we wanted to take a photo the most akward thing happend. Olly took my phone to take a selfie of us but my phone didn't want it the way he wanted to, which meant going to my camera roll and opening a selfie of me which I had taken earlier to check if it was possible to take selfies by the small light that was above us, since it was already dark outside. He wanted to click it away but my phone just went forwards and backwards between my camera roll and the actual camera. I annoyingly said: "Ollyyyy." (I hope I didn't sound too mean and annoyed, haha)
And he was excusing himself like "Sorry, I don't understand anything, it's in german" (my phone). I grabbed it from him to go back to the camera and then gave it back to him and we finally took our photo.

He hugged me goodbye after that and kissed me on the cheeck. I thanked him for the amazing show and we basically left after that, since it was nearly 1 am and I had my work placement in the morning and Inga had to go to school. I arrived at home around 2 am and practically fell into my bed. In the end the waiting and being ill for the next week was worth it! Olly is such a different person when you meet him than he is on stage, but he's lovely and perfect both ways. I can't wait to see/ meet him again one day! :)
